Robotic production capacity for the pharma manufacturing industry
The traditional manufacturing process for individualized drugs is extremely slow and expensive, because it is based on manual labor. At Multiply Labs, we believe that robotics is the only way to truly scale the production of individualized drugs - finally providing these life-saving therapies to the millions of patients who need them. We develop cloud-controlled modular robotic systems that manufacture individualized drugs, and we deploy these systems in the facilities of our pharma customers. This is pharma robotics as a service: we sell the robotic production capacity that our customers need to scale their next-gen individualized drugs.
Multiply Labs provides robotic biomanufacturing infrastructure that automates and scales biologics manufacturing. It enables existing GMP instrument ecosystems to operate in a closed, automated environment, increasing throughput while reducing costs and contamination risk.
The platform uses a robotic cluster that connects existing GMP instruments inside a closed, automated environment, preserving the current process while increasing throughput. It automates each unit operation in a fully automated, sterile, and GMP-ready system, orchestrated by robotic arms. The software control integrates with the customer’s quality system to capture real-time sensor data and generate electronic records, with 21 CFR Part 11 compliant records, real-time monitoring, and seamless data flow into existing workflows. Customers can add clusters to scale throughput up to 100x with corresponding cost reductions, without transferring processes.
Who it’s for: Pharma/biotech manufacturers and contract development/manufacturing organizations focusing on advanced biologics and cell/gene therapies.
Customers: AstraZeneca, Legend Biotech, Kyverna Therapeutics
