Cairns Health offers Luna, a digital care companion that uses conversational AI and contactless monitoring to provide proactive, 24/7 care support for home-based and senior care settings. It aims to improve care continuity, reduce caregiver burden, and deliver real-time insights to care teams, families, and providers.
Luna combines intelligent passive sensing (sleep, heart rate, breathing) with natural voice interaction to allow patients to engage with a digital care companion. It delivers personalized reminders (medication, check-ins, behavioral nudges), conducts symptom checks, and maintains ongoing conversation to ease loneliness. Real-time health insights are generated to help care teams intervene earlier, while Luna can extend care presence between visits to reduce burden on staff and improve outcomes across home care agencies, aging-in-place scenarios, remote patient monitoring, and health systems scaling.
