He has worked at some of Europe's fastest growing startups and unicorns as an early employee. His research at university focused on quantum computing and time series forecasting which he sold to an insurance company. Het studied CS and Statistics along with Robotics, Cognition and Intelligence in Munich. He was also a national level tennis and squash player.

He's a mechanical engineer who has done research at Cambridge and won a prize at NASA. Johann is a licensed pilot, and loves aircraft.
