Papa provides in-person and phone-based companion care services designed to support older adults and families, partnering with health plans and employers to connect members with Papa Pals for social support, transportation, errands, and daily tasks. The service emphasizes reducing loneliness, promoting independence, and improving health outcomes while offering a unique benefit for plan members and employees.
Papa operates a network of Papa Pals who deliver companion care and practical assistance. Members sign up through participating health plans or employers, then schedule visits (in-person or by phone) via phone, online, or a mobile app. Services include companion care, help with children and pets, transportation, errands, and other social-support tasks, with post-visit surveys to ensure quality. The model aims to bring care directly to the member’s location, with flexible enrollment and a focus on human connection and measurable engagement outcomes.

Founded Papa to support older adults and families. Grew up in South Florida and started my career in sales. Cut my teeth in start up / healthcare world with MDLIVE. Started on the team in 2011 and helped grow the company to over 35M members by 2017. Left in 2017 to focus on Papa full time, been doing that ever since. Love growing Papa, snowboarding, hanging with Romi (gf) and Chewie (dog), reading, nice dinners, and spending time with family and friends.
