Mistle is the open source alternative to Stripe Minions, Ramp Inspect and Shopify River. Instead of spending months building an internal platform, teams use Mistle to run collaborative background agents from day one.

Mistle Cloud runs background agents inside sandboxed environments. Each session starts from a configurable snapshot and a selected agent harness, repository, and tools. Snapshots can be scheduled for refreshes; credentials stay outside the sandbox and a proxy injects authorization for each external tool call. Users can connect tools (e.g., GitHub, Slack, OpenAI), link accounts to map work to humans, and inspect or steer sessions. Workflows can be triggered by events or cron schedules to automate engineering tasks such as reviewing PRs or running checks, with session history and auditing accessible in the interface.
