Robot Cowboys that Herd Cattle with AI Drones
GrazeMate builds autonomous drones that herd cattle. On command, our drones fly to a paddock, position themselves around the mob, and move them where they need to go. What used to take a full day of helicopters, motorbikes, and horses now runs on a schedule. We work with some of the largest cattle ranches in the world. While the drones are herding, they're also estimating animal weights, measuring grass biomass, monitoring water levels, and flagging sick animals. We're building physical AI that lets a grazier manage thousands of head across millions of acres from their phone.
GrazeMate offers autonomous drones with AI for cattle management, enabling ranchers to move, monitor, and inspect herds and pastures from a mobile app. The system uses scheduled drone missions to locate cattle, inspect infrastructure, and provide pasture data, reducing on-ground labor and stress on cattle. It positions itself as a complete ranch toolkit for modern ranching.
The product builds a digital twin of the ranch from user-defined paddock boundaries, then schedules daily drone flyovers and cattle movements. Operators watch live drone feeds and mission progress in an app, and receive full mission reports including cattle locations, trough levels, fence conditions, and pasture data. Features include AI-driven cattle detection and movement planning, pasture intelligence via aerial measurements (PastureView), and the ability to operate with minimal connectivity by switching to local mode when needed. Users can book on-ranch demos, lease units after demos, and manage multiple missions such as locating cattle, checking infrastructure, and monitoring pasture health from a single platform.
Who it’s for: Ranchers and livestock producers managing large or remote cattle operations seeking to reduce labor and improve pasture management.

CEO of GrazeMate, Inc. Spent half my life on a cattle farm, and the other half building robots.
We build autonomous “robot cowboys” that help ranchers move and monitor cattle.
GrazeMate offers autonomous drone software that guides cattle to new pastures by reading animal behavior and applying pressure, aiming to replace traditional herding methods for ranches. The product targets ranches and managers seeking more frequent, cost-effective grazing with real-time herd data, and the company invites early partners and demos.
