The AI communication layer for healthcare
Clarion is building the most advanced AI communication layer for healthcare. Our AI agents handle the overwhelming volume of calls and messages that clinics face daily—from scheduling to billing to prescription refills—freeing staff to focus on patient care. We're an in-person company based in New York. Today, clinics miss 30-40% of inbound calls due to staffing shortages. We're solving this by automating complex workflows end-to-end, already serving tens of thousands of patients monthly across virtual care companies, health systems, and a $5B health insurance company. We've raised $5.4M from Accel, Y Combinator, Sequoia (scout), and healthcare founders from Ophelia, Medallion, and Counsel Health. Our founders bring both clinical and technical expertise—our CEO Ryan is a Stanford/Harvard-trained physician who was on the founding teams of Two Chairs and Ophelia, while our CTO Jeffrey built voice AI at Amazon Alexa and led AI/ML teams at Salesforce. Join us as we transform healthcare communication—creating a future where patients get faster resolutions and providers reclaim time for what matters most.
Clarion provides an AI-driven conversational assistant for healthcare that automates phone-based workflows and patient communications. It aims to reduce hold times, backfill cancellations, and convert referrals into booked appointments while integrating with existing EHR/IVR systems.
Clarion deploys AI agents that handle calls, texts, and messages 24/7 to manage front-office tasks end-to-end. Key capabilities include capturing patient information, scheduling management (book, reschedule, backfill), referral follow-ups, billing and insurance inquiries, and 24/7 patient support. The product is configurable to match a practice’s workflows, integrates with EHR and IVR, supports voice, SMS, and web channels, provides real-time dashboards, and offers seamless escalation to staff when needed. Setup emphasizes rapid go-live with no IT required and a tailored experience per specialty (e.g., Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Value-Based Care, Women’s Health).
Who it’s for: Healthcare providers and practices, including specialties listed (Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Value-Based Care, Women’s Health), seeking to automate front-office tasks and improve patient access and scheduling.
Hiring/customer testimonials and enterprise focus implied; mentions scale, live dashboards, and integration capabilities suggesting traction with healthcare providers.
