The service emphasizes no extra hardware and supports landlords in maximizing rental income from solar investments.
The platform connects to a landlord's rental properties, collects tenants' energy consumption, calculates bills based on electricity rates and solar contribution, and generates a single, clear bill for tenants. It handles transparent payment distribution so each party (tenants and electricity provider) is paid appropriately. Wand Solar charges tenants' solar usage, takes a 10% fee from the tenant bill, and manages the financial transactions to ensure timely payments to landlords. No additional hardware is required; the system works with existing solar installations and can also offer financing for solar upgrades or installations.
