Voquill is the modern AI-native operating system for medical labs. This software manages the entire workflow of the lab (accessioning, workflow, reporting, coding, compliance, and revenue) and contains modern agentic AI tools to help each step. For example, pathologists can write reports 20% faster through our voice AI coworker. Incumbent lab operating systems are old, don't scale with how modern labs work, and can’t integrate existing AI solutions. As a result, labs are either building their own or paying millions for band-aid solutions and consultants. We're building an agentic platform to manage every aspect of the lab and displace the billions spent on legacy management systems.
Voquill is an AI-native scribe for pathologists that voices the case as you scan, drafts the report in real time, and routes findings into the correct report fields while learning the user’s style. It sits on top of existing LIS/IMS systems to automate report generation with templates and snippets.
Voquill listens in the background as you describe cases, drafting the report in real time and placing each finding into the correct field. It supports voice-to-sign-out, adapts to the user’s phrasing and conventions, and uses reusable snippets. It integrates with existing LIS/IMS or reporting systems without migrations, allowing users to continue their current workflow while Voquill fills in templates and ensures each finding lands in the right place. It offers push-to-talk control, privacy-focused design, and compliance features aligned with HIPAA, SOC 2 (in progress), and CAP compliance requirements.

Michael is the co-founder & CEO of Voquill. He spent 5 years at Techcyte, a digital pathology company, joining as a junior engineer straight out of college and rising to VP of Engineering, where he managed a team of 55. At Techcyte, he led the AI team and architected digital pathology systems deployed at Mayo Clinic and other large reference laboratories.
Henry is the co-founder and COO of Voquill. Before Voquill, Henry was a Principal at Oliver Wyman, where he led large AI and automation deployments for F500 companies. He previously founded The Intelligent Worker, an AI education and training company with 500K paying students.
Josiah is the co-founder and CTO of Voquill. He led the forward-deployed team developing an AI pathology platform for customer labs (including The Mayo Clinic, Quest, Labcorp) at Techcyte. He was previously a founding engineer at Relay Health (YC S22).
