From their website
ultralig.ht ↗Ultralight is a GPU-accelerated toolkit that embeds modern HTML in games and native apps, with CPU fallback and support across Windows, macOS, Linux, consoles, and ARM64 devices. It provides a GPU-first rendering path and a lightweight WebKit fork to integrate web content into native pipelines. It targets game developers and native app developers seeking high-performance, portable HTML rendering.
Ultralight offers two renderers (GPU and CPU) to render HTML content within native applications. It provides a GPUDriver API for direct rendering with Direct3D, Metal, and OpenGL, and a FileSystem API to load local assets with secure controls. It supports transparent rendering, custom image compositing via ImageSource, and embedding assets in-binary. It integrates with existing rendering pipelines and game engines, supports JavaScript ↔ native code integration on a fork of JavaScriptCore, and can render to offscreen bitmaps or directly to the GPU. Platform coverage includes Windows, macOS, Linux, Xbox, PlayStation, and ARM64 devices, with both desktop and gaming-console targets.
Who it’s for: Game developers, native application developers, and tech teams building GPU-accelerated applications that need embedded HTML/JS/CSS content within their rendering pipelines.
