Tekton Dynamics
ActiveAI control layer for welding robots
About
Our mission is to empower every manufacturer, no matter their scale, to invent and build anything using intelligent robots. Today’s industrial robots are fast but "blind". They struggle with any task that isn't perfectly repetitive. We are building the eyes and brain (a proprietary vision system and AI model) that allow industrial robots to see, reason, and perform complex work with sub-millimeter accuracy and the adaptability of a human expert. We are witnessing the start of a new industrial revolution: an era of advanced manufacturing powered by AI and robotics. We aim to lead this shift by putting these tools into the hands of every manufacturer, ensuring the power to invent and build at scale isn’t a privilege of the few.
From their website
www.tekton-dynamics.com ↗Tekton Dynamics provides an AI control layer that enables any robot to autonomously weld, simplifying automation for high-mix production without programming or specialized roboticist skills.
The product installs a vision system and an AI edge device on a robot cell, then the user uploads welding jobs. The system handles path planning and adaptation to parts, performing welding autonomously across shifts with no teach pendant or programming required. The workflow includes a free assessment, a quick installation (under an hour), and ongoing autonomous welding once jobs are uploaded.
Who it’s for: Manufacturers and shops with robotic welding cells seeking to automate high-mix welding without extensive programming or robotics expertise.
- vision system and AI edge device installation
- auto path planning and part adaptation
- upload-and-weld workflow without programming
- non-programmer friendly autonomous welding
- free assessment and rapid deployment
- integration of existing robotic cells
