Autonomous patrol-boats for National Security
Splash is developing the next generation of autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) to provide National Security and defend critical assets such as oil rigs and shipping terminals. Our long-term vision is to make traditional naval vessels obsolete by creating a fleet of low-cost and versatile boats which will be able to dominate the seas. Our expertise in mass manufacturing, engineering and quickly scaling operations will make this vision a reality.
Splash Industries develops autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) for national security, harbor patrol, and commercial inspection. Their vessels emphasize multi-mission autonomy, sensor fusion, and scalable deployment for maritime operations.
The product line centers on autonomous surface vessels with complete autonomy enabled by state-of-the-art sensors and sensor fusion. Vessels feature long-range endurance (600 nautical miles) and high speed (up to 50 knots), operate in communication-denied environments, and support a large payload bay for sensor and payload integrations. A seamless tech-stack enables deploying and commanding a fleet: task missions, sit back, and allow autonomous execution across multiple mission profiles including coastal patrols, infrastructure security, naval operations, and commercial bathymetric surveys or cargo deliveries. The system supports mass production at scale and can be factory-modified for specific needs.
Who it’s for: National security agencies, coastal defense and border security authorities, harbor authorities, critical infrastructure sites (e.g., refineries, military bases), and commercial maritime operators needing autonomous surveying or payload delivery.
No explicit funding or hiring mentions; product capabilities and mass-production claim imply traction and readiness for deployment.
Co-Founded Splash with the mission of building the Navy of the future after working on marine robotics research projects for the past 8 years. Previously founded Vosentech and grew it to become the largest supplier of mini smoke machines in the world. Designed, manufactured and sold 10,000+ generators to companies such as SpaceX and Apple as well as to many military customers and agencies such as NASA and Los Alamos to check airflow movements in complicated systems.
Co-Founded Splash Inc. with the mission of building the Navy of the future, leveraging 6+ years in robotics, embedded systems, and IoT. At UCLA’s RoMeLa, I worked on Artemis—the award-winning humanoid champion of RoboCup 2024. Previously at Verkada, I engineered embedded software and battery management for enterprise security alarms. My work at the Ozcan Research Lab, highlighted in multiple publications, has driven breakthroughs in low-cost, point-of-care medical devices.
Guarding critical infrastructure against maritime threats
Splash builds autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) to guard maritime borders, support naval operations, and provide security around critical infrastructure. The launch announces in-house hardware and software, autonomous operation with threat identification, modular payloads, and early progress including over 100 miles driven in San Francisco Bay. The target users are defense, maritime, and oil & gas sectors.
