ActiveBuilding a nervous system for the atmosphere
About
Sorcerer is deploying a global network of persistent airborne sensors to fuel advanced weather forecasting. Our high-altitude balloons collect 1000x more data than existing systems and are already used daily by meteorologists to track extreme weather across the US and Central America.

Sorcerer builds weather balloons that last for over six months, collecting 1000x more data per dollar from previously inaccessible regions.
Sorcerer launches a global network of persistent weather balloons that stay aloft over six months, collecting real-time data from 65,000 feet down to sea level to improve AI weather models. The balloons aim to provide 1000x more data per dollar and deliver forecasts up to 50% more accurate than today’s best forecasts.
