Patient Intelligence Platform for Genetic Disease
Probably Genetic is changing the lives of patients living with severe, complex diseases. Our data platform is used by drug developers and patient advocacy groups to develop and launch treatments for these patients. Our technology discovers undiagnosed patients online, analyzes their disease state using machine learning and at-home testing, and enables compliant communication with patients. In doing so, we help patients access diagnoses, clinical trials, and treatments as early as possible.
Probably Genetic offers a patient-focused genetic testing platform that provides free and insurance-billed genetic testing for rare diseases, with clinician counseling and home sample collection. It emphasizes AI and genetics expertise to shorten the diagnostic journey and connects patients with advocacy partners and a CLIA/CAP-certified lab.
Patients_complete an online health and diagnostic assessment to build a personalized profile, then check eligibility for free testing programs or insurance-billed testing. If eligible, a genetic testing kit is shipped to the patient’s home for saliva collection, and results are reviewed with a genetic counselor via remote consultation. Testing is performed in a CLIA-certified CAP-accredited lab and data is HIPAA-compliant. The process involves patient self-assessment, eligibility determination, remote genetic counseling, and test kit delivery to the door, with results explained by a physician-ordered pathway.
Who it’s for: Patients with suspected genetic conditions or rare diseases and their caregivers, families seeking diagnostic clarity, and those connected to patient advocacy groups seeking access to genetic testing and counseling.
growth/traction (200,000+ patients), partnerships with 50+ patient advocacy groups, multiple testing programs (free and insurance-billed), ongoing eligibility assessment and patient profile creation
