HeyCharge solves all of these problems with ultra-low-cost, plug-and-play EV chargers that don't require internet connections and integrate with third-party products via our SDK and APIs. Our customers are energy utilities, property operators, mobility service providers, and more.
HeyCharge provides an offline-first EV charging platform designed for apartments, underground garages, and other non-wiFi environments. It enables Bluetooth-based authentication and billing with no internet connection, aiming to reduce installation costs and avoid connectivity dependencies.
The product consists of hardware components (HeyCharge Wallbox up to 22 kW, MagicBox retrofit adapters, Connect Bridge, Connect Edge Gateway, SecureCharge Module) and software (Charge Point Management System, HeyCharge App, SDK/API) that together enable offline Bluetooth-based charging, local user authentication, and later cloud synchronization when connectivity returns. It supports retrofit to existing OCPP chargers, dynamic load management, energy management, and auditable session data with Stripe billing when online. It also provides roaming payments and offline roaming capabilities with partners, and a platform that can be deployed as HeyCharge-operated turnkey CPO services or as an OEM platform via APIs/SDK.

From the very beginning of my career in 2005, I have been in charge to deliver end-to-end innovations around connected, shared and electric mobility. Being responsible for designing mobility concepts, assessing latest technology trends, and creating long-term go-to-market strategies within the smart mobility eco-system got me excited to start an own venture.
