AI-enabled procurement for government
Hazel builds AI-powered procurement software for U.S. state, local, and federal government agencies. We automate the full procurement process including requirements generation, market research, solicitation drafting, and proposal evaluation. Agencies use Hazel to save time and money while improving mission delivery.
Hazel AI provides AI-powered procurement software tailored for government buyers to write solicitations, find vendors, and evaluate responses with built-in compliance. It targets federal, state, and local agencies, offering templates, past award language, and vendor discovery.
Converts agency templates and past awards into complete RFx drafts (RFP/RFQ/RFB). Auto-generates solicitations, applies boilerplate and past award language, and ensures policy compliance. Includes AI-assisted evaluations and an AI scope review to help assess responses, with features to find MWBE/SBE certified vendors and maintain full compliance across procurement documents.

@Palantir, I built wildfire prevention apps that led to a 99% reduction in acres impacted by wildfires in CA. I also developed several channel partnerships from 0 ->1, securing $Xmm in high-margin licenses. MechE/CS @ Harvard '20. Led MakeHarvard. My thesis was on how we can safely deploy aerosols into the stratosphere to save Earth (see: geoengineering).
Originally from Atlanta, Elton graduated with a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Harvard, where he cofounded MakeHarvard and wrote an AI/ML thesis in medtech. He interned in data engineering for Capital One and aerospace engineering for a space startup. He spent ~5 years at BCG, exiting as Project Leader. He built *lots* of slides and led strategy and procurement cases in the Aerospace & Defense and Public Sector practice areas. He lives in Boston with his wife.
