Distr is an open-source software distribution platform that enables vendors to ship self-hosted software with a SaaS-like experience for customers. It centralizes onboarding, updates, and support for self-hosted deployments across various environments, including VPC, GovCloud, and air-gapped setups.
Distr provides a platform to standardize and automate the deployment, updates, and management of self-hosted software. It supports distribution via OCI registry, artifact entitlements, a white-labeled customer portal, and an integrated workflow for installing, updating, and supporting software in customer environments such as Kubernetes, Docker Compose, VM, or bare metal. The platform aims to replace ad-hoc operational tasks with repeatable workflows, delivering a single pane of glass to manage releases, entitlements, logs, health, and support for each self-hosted customer.
