dev/color is a non-profit organization that aims to maximize the impact of Black software engineers. Our mission is to provide Black engineers with the connections and skills needed to start and stay in the industry, and advance into leadership roles. We’re a community for software engineers, by software engineers. We work with members throughout their careers, from college to industry, through mentorship, goal setting and events.
DevColor is a community and membership-based network focused on advancing Black software engineers, technologists, and executives through programs, partnerships, and events. It positions itself as a go-to accountability partner for companies investing in Black technologists and aims to improve pay equity, gender equity, and career advancement.
DevColor operates as a membership and community platform with programs for members and employers. It offers events (e.g., summits), professional development content, and an accountability framework for partner companies. The site highlights a member-centric community designed to accelerate careers, connect talent with opportunities, and provide resources and news related to Black technologists.
