XTraffic provides an AI-driven traffic signal control system that continuously senses traffic, predicts demand, and controls signals in real time using existing public infrastructure. It targets public agencies and corridors, aiming to replace rigid timing with live, defensible control.
The system senses live traffic, predicts arrivals, queues, and safety constraints, and controls signal actions (movement, coordination, preemption, safety) in real time. It uses an AI model that tracks vehicles across intersections, shares data across the corridor, and operates upstream of the stop bar without requiring a full hardware refresh. It integrates with existing signal systems and sensor feeds, surfaces state and constraints to operators, and generates real-time and historical insights from the same platform that controls the signals.
