Configuration language for building enterprise web apps 10x faster
Wasp is a simple configuration language for building enterprise web apps with less code and best practices. If a developer wants to build an app like Instacart, they need to know a dozen different technologies and how to make them work together - Wasp solves this problem while still letting developers use React, Node.js and their other favourite tools. We will enable enterprises to build modern apps quickly at scale, like Databricks did for data management.
Wasp is a full-stack TypeScript framework that configures frontend, backend, database, and deployment to help build enterprise web apps quickly. It provides built-in features like auth, jobs, email, deployment, and a cohesive, type-safe stack designed to work with AI-era apps.
Wasp uses a high-level configuration language (main.wasp) to define apps, routes, pages, data models, authentication methods, queries, jobs, and deployment. It wires React frontend, Node.js backend, Prisma models, and deployment commands into a single cohesive stack. Features include typed RPC between client and server, auto-generated boilerplate for auth, data models, static rendering, real-time WebSockets, email providers, and scheduled/background jobs, all controllable via a single Wasp CLI (create, build, deploy).
Who it’s for: enterprise developers and teams building full-stack web apps with TypeScript who want to reduce boilerplate and accelerate development.

Get auth, CRUD, async workers and other common features via Wasp config language and write the rest of your logic in React, Node.js and Prisma
Wasp Beta introduces a full-stack framework for React and Node.js that uses a config language to define common features (auth, CRUD, async jobs) while coding the rest in React, Node.js, and Prisma. It targets developers building web apps and adds a language server, TypeScript support, Tailwind, running async jobs, optimistic updates, and beta features.
