We've shown that it works in the operating room and is as accurate as the best tools doctors have today, at a fraction of the cost. Vena Vitals offers a continuous, noninvasive blood pressure monitoring solution using a skin-conforming sensor placed over a palpable artery. The system aims to enable real-time cardiovascular monitoring across operating rooms, sleep clinics, and home settings, with FDA 510(k) submission for VeriTrack.
The VeriTrack sensor is a soft, stretchable capacitive pressure sensor placed on the skin over a palpable artery (foot dorsalis pedis). It detects skin deflection from arterial pulsations to capture every heartbeat with high fidelity, sensitivity, and resolution. The device is designed to be skin-conforming and comfortable, enabling continuous blood pressure monitoring across care settings (operating rooms, clinics, home) and potentially multiple arterial locations in the future.
