Use personal data for analytics and ML, safely and seamlessly
Sarus solves the problem of accessing or sharing personal data for analytics or machine learning. The solution deploys natively in data infrastructures and lets practitioners work on data they cannot see. Every interaction with the sensitive data is protected with the highest privacy standard: differential privacy Sarus makes traditional anonymization methods irrelevant, saving months in compliance and data engineering while preserving all of the value of data.
Sarus provides a privacy layer for analytics and AI, enabling data scientists to work with sensitive data while enforcing privacy protections. The platform combines differential privacy, privacy-preserving synthetic data, and on-the-fly query rewriting to keep data secure during analytics and LLM workflows.
Sarus sits atop data sources, allowing data practitioners to query sensitive data without direct access. It uses differential privacy to guarantee safe query results, generates privacy-preserving synthetic data, and rewrites processing jobs on-the-fly to enforce privacy. It supports deploying on-premises or in the cloud (Docker/Kubernetes), connects to data sources, and controls query access and privacy levels for each user. Outputs are guaranteed to comply with privacy policies, enabling use of SQL, pandas, sklearn, and LLMs with private data handling.
Who it’s for: Organizations handling sensitive data across industries such as finance, healthcare, marketing, and public sector, with data science and analytics teams requiring privacy-safe analytics and AI workflows.

Maxime Agostini is Sarus cofounder and CEO. He previously cofounded AlephD a ML startup solving publishers monetization challenges. As CEO, he grew the business internationally and led the company up to a successful exit to Verizon Media in 2016. Maxime graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in computer science and physics. He interned at Google and Stanford physics lab.
Nicolas Grislain is Chief Science Officer at Sarus Technologies. He graduated from École Normale Supérieure de Lyon in Mathematics and Computer Science. Nicolas started his career in economics and finance modeling at the French Treasury and then at Société Générale. He co-founded a first company: AlephD, in 2012, where he was also leading Research and Development. AlephD got acquired by Yahoo in 2016. In 2020 he co-founded Sarus Technologies with the same founding team as AlephD.
