Claude Code for Mechanical Engineers
REV1 is Claude code for mechanical engineers, starting with automating the process of turning 3D designs into 2D manufacturing drawings β which is more than 25% of all of what a mechanical engineer does - our software does it in minutes. Compressing hours of work into minutes while delivering consistent, higher quality results.
REV1 provides AI-powered GD&T automation that converts 3D CAD models into fully annotated, production-ready 2D drawings in minutes. It focuses on automating geometric dimensioning and tolerancing using ASME rules to accelerate engineering drawing generation and cut manual drafting time.
REV1 starts from a 3D CAD model and determines which surfaces are critical and what fit is required. It automatically generates fully annotated 2D drawings with appropriate geometric controls and tolerance values, based on 300+ pages of ASME rules, and keeps drawings synchronized with the userβs PLM. Users can review and edit the GD&T annotations before releasing to manufacturing, effectively converting vision into production-ready documentation rapidly.
Who itβs for: Mechanical engineering teams and organizations that produce parts or assemblies requiring GD&T documentation and integration with PLM systems

It's time for Mechanical Engineers to automate their workflows
REV1 automates generation of manufacturing-ready 2D drawings from 3D CAD files, including GD&T annotations, targeting mechanical engineering teams in hardware-heavy industries. It aims to reduce drawing creation from hours to minutes while keeping drawings synced with PLM and editable in its native interface.
