One Codex

One Codex is a data platform for microbiome sequencing and analysis, offering an intuitive web interface, a large microbial reference database, and tooling to analyze and share microbiome data. It enables researchers to move from sequencing to results quickly with automated pipelines and configurable analyses.

The platform provides a web-based interface plus APIs to upload sequencing data, run analyses (including metagenomic classification and bacterial typing), and access a curated microbial reference database. It offers fast turnaround times, reproducible analyses, HIPAA/GxP-compliant features, sample management and collaboration tools, and optional premium analyses. The service charges per sample uploaded beyond base/free plan limits, with storage for up to one year and access to a range of analyses, some free and some premium, selectable via the Run Analyses interface. The Genome Library and Platform modules support data-driven workflows from sequencing to results and reporting.
