Kitbash
AI powered remixing to unlock the gamedev in everyone.
About
We're pioneering the best way to make games by creating Kitbash, our new game engine and platform. Using Kitbash, anyone can create compelling 2D games right in the browser by building and remixing their favorite experiences with the help of powerful AI tooling. As we build the platform, we're using Kitbash to build our own games as well, starting with Wyld Land, our 2D Bullet Hell MMO that's launching on the web and Steam later this year.
From their website
wyld.land ↗Wyld Land is a 2D browser-based MMO featuring high-risk, high-reward bullet hell gameplay. Developed by Bag of Holding, it emphasizes exploration, customization, and progression in a cooperative-competitive online world with ongoing development and community engagement.
Players explore an overworld, take on remnants of an ancient civilization, and engage in dynamic dungeons with unique boss designs. The game supports thousands of players online, offers character customization through Echoes, and provides progression via achievements and exotic weapons. It is free-to-play with an anticipated optional season pass in the future, and there will be no pay-to-win content. The title is in beta, with rapid feature/content additions and a focus on a sustainable, community-driven development cycle, with updates communicated through a Discord server and dev logs.

In 2012, I Co-Founded Roll20, the largest site for playing D&D online. We grew from a $40k Kickstarter campaign to 18 million users and nine figures of lifetime revenue. In 2016, I Founded OrbusVR, the first MMO built from the ground up for room-scale VR. We were a Meta Quest launch title and shipped more than 200k units even though it was our first VR title. I have proven experience creating gaming platforms, and I'm passionate about democratizing game dev so everyone has a chance to jump in and make games.
