Personal AI Robots
We make personal AI robots - general-purpose physical machines that anyone can program with code, language and demonstrations. We believe building open platforms like the first PCs this is the only way to bring the robotics future that we all want, where everyone can participate in the robotics revolution.
Innate offers a personal AI robot platform centered on Mars, a teachable, open-source robot with an AI stack and extendable hardware. It emphasizes an agentic OS, programmable foundation agent, and shareable skills/behaviors for real-world tasks.
Mars is an open-source, general-purpose robot with onboard compute and an extensible platform. It runs a programmable foundation agent, supports prompts, tools, and physical actions, and allows users to add skills, write behaviors, and share them. The hardware includes a movable head, stereo RGB camera, LiDAR extension ports, an Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano GPU, and a 5+1 DOF arm. Users can train new physical skills, control the robot via an app, and customize both OS and hardware with additional sensors and tools; it ships with starter behaviors and is designed to run manipulation, navigation, and other skills out of the box.
Who itβs for: developers, robotics enthusiasts, makers, and small teams interested in building and sharing AI-powered robot behaviors
Pre-order campaign active; hiring/teams section indicates ongoing recruitment; mentions made in Palo Alto and 2025 copyright suggesting growing traction

Shipping assembled AI robots for builders of Silicon Valley!
Innate builds AI brains for general-purpose robots and affordable robot embodiments, starting with Mauriceβa mobile robot with a trainable arm for Silicon Valley builders to customize, train, and deploy. Maurice runs an on-device brain that navigates, manipulates, reasons, and interacts, and can be taught via prompts and conversations; the company offers an SDK, data pipeline, and live demos, aiming to make teachable robots accessible to developers and early adopters.
