We make carbon negative roads
We are crushing roads in need of maintenance, reusing the old road materials, replacing heavy oil with carbon binding lignin. This is both a cheaper, more durable and net carbon negative method, removing ~1.5 tonnes CO2 from the atmosphere from every 100 feet of road. We offer Crushing As A Service (CRAAS) to public and private road owners and refurbishers, and are already gaining international traction. Using satellite imagery, we will monitor road status and potential, and will offer additional tech and bio enhancements to make all roads green and a solution to the climate crisis. We are building the road to a carbon negative future.
Carbon Crusher develops carbon-negative road infrastructure by reclaiming and recycling existing road materials, binding them with bio-based binders, and offering software tools to plan, manage, and monitor road networks. Their approach focuses on reducing material usage, sequestering CO2, and delivering longer-lasting roads with reduced maintenance.
They perform full-depth reclamation by crushing on-site materials and reusing them with carbon-negative BioBinders to create a high-strength road base. Road projects can be paved or left natural/compact. They offer SkyRoads AI, a software suite for road infrastructure management that analyzes roads, ranks them by standards, and provides planning, documentation, and surveillance in a simulated environment. The process aims to sequester 50–150 tonnes of CO2 per mile and claims 50–70% strength without asphalt with 2–3x load-bearing capacity with asphalt.
