Button is the wearable AI that can talk.
Weβre launching a small hardware device: a button that you clip to your shirt. You press it to talk to AI, and it responds instantly.
Button is a wearable AI device in the form of a clip-on button that you press to talk to AI. It aims to deliver instant, private voice AI interactions with a built-in speaker and optional Bluetooth headphones, functioning as a tiny computer designed specifically for AI workloads.
A clip-on wearable button that serves as a dedicated AI interface. You press the button to talk to AI; it processes speech locally and/or via connected devices, and responds instantly through its built-in speaker or Bluetooth headphones. It uses Bluetooth to connect to your phone for internet access, supports iPhone at launch with Android later, and ships with three months of Button AI Pro or allows using a provided or user-supplied API key to operate without a subscription. It emphasizes privacy by design and does not continuously listen to conversations. It can pair with in-car stereos and be used on desk, in-car, or with headphones for private use.
Who itβs for: Individuals who want instant, hands-free AI access via a dedicated wearable device, prioritizing speed and privacy, and who are comfortable with Bluetooth-connected hardware.
Preorder campaign with shipping timelines, pricing for hardware and subscription, and founder background; active product development and customer onboarding of early adopters planned for late 2026.
I was previously a Staff SWE at Apple, where I worked on the Vision Pro. Although I've spent much of my career on software, I have a background in mechanical engineering, and a deep passion for product design. I'm a second-time founder and former venture partner. Now I'm working on conversational computing, and I'm excited to bring voice AI to the masses.
